Red Ribbon Week
FES has activities planned for Red Ribbon Week (Oct. 23-28). During this week, activities will focus on the positive aspect of living a drug-free life. The following is a listing of the dress out activities for this week:
Monday - regular uniform
Tuesday - USA or red, white and blue shirts and socks with uniform bottoms
Wednesday - red shirts to honor Red Ribbon Week and being drug-free with uniform bottoms
Thursday - dress as your career choice contest (please make a sign to label what career you represent.)
Friday - dress in shirt or jersey from college (2 or 4 year) with uniform bottoms. *Note: This is dollar denim day. Students may also wear jeans if they pay $1.00.
PAW Party Winners
The students that participated in the PAW Parties placed their PAW Bucks in a bucket for the drawing. The prizes consisted of: a sheet of fair tickets, an LSU football, a doughnut pillow, or a set of headphones. Congratulations to you all!!!
Lunch Contest Winner
Hannah Y. won fair tickets by participating in the lunch contest. Students had to eat a cafeteria lunch every day in order for their name to be placed in the drawing for the tickets. Congratulations Hannah!! Enjoy those tickets.
Franklinton Elementary will recognize a teacher and a staff member monthly.
