Masquerade Ball

Franklinton Elementary presents their first annual Masquerade Ball for Moms and Sons. The event is Friday, February 17th from 6 - 8 p.m. The admission is $5 per son. Moms are free. The admission includes two masks. One for him and one for his mother to decorate and wear to the ball. The attire is Sunday dress to formal.

 

A Mardi Gras raffle for $100 is also being conducted at FES. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. One ticket will be drawn for $100. Boys attending the ball may sell raffle tickets.

 

Royalty for the Masquerade Ball will be picked according to the amount of money turned in for raffle tickets. The ball royalty will be chosen as follows:

 

            5th grade: Highest seller will be crowned KING

            2nd and 3rd place winners will be CAPTAINS

                   

            3rd and 4th grade: Highest sellers will DUKES

            2nd and 3rd place winners will be PAIGES

       Photography will be provided by Bert Burr. Purchase is optional.

 

Snacks will be available for purchase.

FES Faculty and Staff were surprised Monday afternoon with treats. The hostesses brought carts to each hall loaded with sweet treats which consisted of brownies, homemade banana bread, Danish wedding cookies, and homemade marshmallows for the hot chocolate.
